Exam Rules & Travel Logistics
Whether you are a local student or flying in from out of state, please review our strict examination protocols and travel recommendations below to ensure a smooth test day.
📋 Mandatory Exam Rules
- Arrival Time: You must arrive exactly 30 minutes before your scheduled start time. Late arrivals will not be permitted to test.
- Required ID: You must bring a valid, government-issued Passport or state ID. Photos on your phone are not accepted.
- Electronic Devices: No cell phones, smartwatches, or tablets are allowed in the testing room. They must be turned off and stored away.
- Testing Materials: We provide all official ÖSD exam sheets, scratch paper and pens.
- Dictionaries: Monolingual/bilingual dictionaries are only permitted for B2 and C1 exams. They are strictly prohibited for A1, A2, and B1.
✈️ Out-of-State Travel Guide
- Closest Airport: We are located just 20 minutes from John Wayne Airport (SNA). We highly recommend flying into SNA rather than LAX.
- Same-Day Testing: Let us know you are traveling! We specialize in coordinating your written and oral modules on the exact same day so you can fly home that evening.
- Hotel Recommendations: The Holiday Inn Express Newport Beach is a brief 5-minute drive from our testing center.
- Transportation: Uber and Lyft are readily available from SNA directly to our campus building.

Campus Parking: Free and ample parking is available right at our campus (1931 West Coast Hwy, Building C).
