The Culinary Arts Teacher at the GERMAN SCHOOL campus, Chef Marie Kuhn, is cooking for our guests at the Fundraising Concert, a “Taste of Germany.”

German School Campus Building Fund Concert & A Taste of Germany

Please join us on November 19th, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Old World Huntington Beach Event Hall, for the first annual German School Campus Building Fundraiser Concert organized by German School Campus Principal and Director Ursula Schoeneich, with Award-winning film composer, conductor and arranger Mark Roos and German School Campus Culinary Arts Teacher Marie Kuhn, for a German evening that will awaken all your senses.

Led by Mark Roos, our individually selected musicians will ensure a more than a pleasant evening by musically entertaining you with a choice of the most famous German classic lyrics through times, combined with carefully chosen classic rock songs. A Taste of Germany will accompany the concert.

As the goal of the German School campus is to introduce, promote and teach German Culture and language in Southern California, the musical entertainment will be accompanied by an unprecedented culinary experience with delightful German dishes. A Taste of Germany will awaken your palate to the intricate flavors of various German regions, going above and beyond the usual Sauerkraut and Bratwurst to introduce you to a variety of distinctive, delicious German regional delicacies. As the evening progresses, get prepared to enjoy finely handcrafted appetizers and a full three-course menu exclusively composed for this particular Event. Our Chef Marie Kuhn will ensure that your wanderlust will be awakened by taking you on a sensorial adventure. From the northern German counties and their strongly fish and seafood influenced gastronomy, through the eastern Länder that feature varieties of pickled vegetables and sumptuous meaty Delikatessen, through the southern regions that are well known for their diversity of noodles, salads, and baked goods. A Taste of Germany will guarantee a delicious evening of culinary discoveries, concluded by a finely hand-crafted selection of classic and traditional German desserts.

We are excitedly looking forward to welcoming you to this joyful event supporting the educational cause of teaching the German language and ensuring that German culture and traditions can be taught to all generations in our local communities. Thanks to your contribution, the German School Campus will be able to teach present and future generations in a state-of-the-art building!

Danke and Bis Bald at Old World Huntington Beach!
