A step-by-step guide to set up Google Classroom
Please follow these steps to complete registration and confirmation.
If you have not registered with Gradelink, please use this link and register first.
Step 6 – After Registration with Gradelink, you will receive an email to your Gradelink registered email account: “You have a new Google account for GERMAN SCHOOL campus Inc.” Please sign in, and this is your student school account for GERMAN SCHOOL campus. If you have a personal or corporate Gmail account, please make sure you are logged into your registered Gradelink account. Check the upper right corner.
Step 7 – Please follow the step and “Accept”
Step 8 – Please change and create a new password and keep it safe
Step 9 – You are logged into your student’s email account. This is the account to get to the google classroom and where we send all notifications to the student.
Step 10 – You will receive an email to your student’s email account with the subject “Class invitation:” ……. here is the assigned class” Please make sure you are always logged into your student’s GERMAN SCHOOL campus email account when working with your kid.
Step 11 – Open the above email and “Join” the class.
Step 12 – Join the registered class with Google Classroom
Step 13 – Your Dashboard and click on “Classroom“
Step 14 – CONTINUE to Google Classroom
Step 15 – You are in your student’s class. You can see other classmates, a link to join Meet, and all the assignments and homework.
Step 16 – Please check your parent registered email account and find the email “Ursula Schoeneich invited you as a guardian in Google Classroom” and “ACCEPT” it.
Step 17– Accept
Step 18 – Confirmation Email that you will now get Google Classroom Summaries from your student.
Step 19 – You can change the main setting for the Summaries
Step 20 – Make sure you are logged into your student’s Google account for GERMAN SCHOOL campus. The red arrow is the current Google account. With the nine dots and the green arrow, you can go to all Google apps. You go to the Gmail account with a click above the blue arrow.
Step 21 – Sign in to the GERMAN SCHOOL campus account when logged out. Here in this sample, we are logged into a private parent account. Just click “Add another account.”
Step 22 – Sign in to your kids’ GERMAN SCHOOL campus Google account
