German classes A1/A2

Tuesday/Thursday 8:30 am 9:30 am ( 8th – 12th)
This two-hour German class weekly is a combo class with students on beginner-and intermediate German language levels.
You get your High School Credit for German as a foreign language; students can take the AATG-National German exam.
We meet 2x a week for one hour.
Study and workbooks are augmented to support video clips, grammar clips, audio, and film through an App downloaded on the cell phone. (Purchased by the teacher)
A structured binder will be handed out.
Additional material is handed out to students to support each chapter.

$480 semester / $960 school year and $100 book and material fee


Spanish classes 1st – 12th grade

Monday 8:30 am – 9:25 am (Spanish 3rd – 5th)
The textbook is called Alba Y Gael. Students will learn the Spanish basics like the alphabet, numbers, and colors in this one-hour class. They will also learn conversational Spanish to ask each other about the name, age, phone number, favorite activities, foods, where something locates, and description of family members and pets.
Recordings, videos, and websites will also support learning.
Tuition $250 semester / $500 school year
The material & book fee is $50 per year. The teacher will order books.

Tuesday 9:30 am – 10:25 am ( Spanish 1st- 2nd)
This is a one h class per week.
The textbook is called Alba Y Gael. Students will learn the Spanish basics like the alphabet, numbers, and colors in this class. They will also learn conversational Spanish to ask each other about the name, age, phone number, favorite activities, and foods, where something is located, and description of family members and pets.
Recordings, videos, and websites will also support learning.

This is a one h class per week.

This is a two-semester course of 3h per week for 32 weeks in the school year.
The textbook is called Realidades. After the preliminary chapter, “Para Empezar,” you will learn how to talk about favorite activities, describe yourself and others, talk about your school day, talk about food and healthy habits, say where you are going, talk about your family, how to order food in a restaurant, describe your house and chores.
Homework is an integral part of this course.
Recordings and videos will also support learning.
Tuition $700 semester / $1400 school year
The material is $25 per year. The students and their families will order books.

Tuesday / Thursday – 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm ( Spanish Middle School)
This is a 90 min class per week.
This is a two-semester course called Realidades.
After the preliminary chapter, “Para Empezar,” you will learn how to talk about favorite activities, describe yourself and others, talk about your school day, talk about food and healthy habits, say where you are going, and talk about your family.

They will also learn conversational Spanish to be able to ask each other about the name, age, phone number, favorite activities, and foods, where something is located, and descriptions of family members and pets.
Recordings, videos, and websites will also support learning.

Cooking with Chef Marie

European Classic for Children

Monday 2:00pm – 3:30 pm ( 9th-12th) class: $300/ material: $80 per semester
These 90 minutes class introduces basic cooking skills to ensure that your child will be able to prepare simple recipes. An introduction to product preparation, hygiene, and cooking basics will be given. This class focuses weekly on traditional European recipes. Examples are German Pancakes, Potato Salad and Schnitzel, Pasta Bolognese, French omelet, Belgian fries, and more. Students will have a great meal with each class accomplished. Students receive a binder for the collected recipes. Important! We are teaching you the metric system.

Cooking Basics for Little Chefs

Tuesday 1:00pm – 1:55 pm ( 1st – 5th) class: $200/ material: $80 per semester
In this class for younger children, cooking basics will be provided to each child. Children will learn about product and workspace hygiene and will be introduced to easy recipes while ensuring that each child understands and uses all safety procedures. In this class, we will focus on easy tasks and recipes for each child to understand and enjoy. Students will have a great meal with each class accomplished. Important! We are teaching you the metric system. Students receive a binder for the collected recipes.

Introduction to French Basics

Tuesday 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm ( 9th-12th) class: $300/ material: $80 per semester
In these 90 minutes classes, students will be introduced to all hygiene procedures and each week will have a topic covering traditional French cuisine. Starting with the basics of preparing produce, and then moving on to vegetable recipes, egg recipes, meat, chicken, and desserts. This class will provide a solid base for traditional French cuisine. Students will have a great meal with each class accomplished. Important! We are teaching you the metric system. Students receive a binder for the collected recipes.

German and Austrian Kid’s Favorites

Wednesday 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm ( 7th-12) class: $300/ material: $80 per semester
In these 90 minutes, classes students will be introduced to all safety and hygiene procedures before learning simple German and Austrian recipes that are a highlight for kids! Examples of recipes that will be made include the famous Austrian Kaiserschmarrn and Palatschinken and German Pretzels and Potato Salad. Students will have a great meal with each class accomplished. Important! We are teaching you the metric system. Students receive a binder for the collected recipes.

Charter Schools
We accept charter funds from Excel Charter School. Amount to be found after registration in the student account at Gradelink. Payments for Tuition should be received in time and no later than the first of each month. Through Gradelink / PaySimple, we accept credit cards, and autopay can be set up. Checks are accepted. A $25 fee applies for checks returned due to insufficient funds. Classes will start on September 6th, 2022, and continue until June 1st, 2023.
