Kinder Karneval Fasching – A Family Celebration at German School Campus

On Sunday, March 2nd, families gathered in Old World, Huntington Beach, to celebrate the Kinder-Karneval-Fasching hosted by the German School Campus. This traditional event brought the joy and excitement of German Fasching to Southern California, filling the afternoon with music, laughter, and fun activities for children of all ages.
A Grand Entrance with Prinz Heinz Wilhelm I. and Prinzessin Viktoria Elizabeth was a highlight of the event. The royal couple from the Anaheim Karnevalsgesellschaft. They dressed in regal attire and made a grand entrance, spreading cheer and officially opening the celebration. Their presence added an authentic touch to the festivities, embodying the true spirit of Fasching.
Captivating Performance by the Tanzmariechen The audience was delighted by a captivating performance from the Tanzmariechen. Her energetic dance routines showcased traditional German dance moves, enthralling both children and adults alike. The precision and enthusiasm of the dancers added an extra layer of excitement to the event.
Three Hours of Pure Fun! The German School Campus teachers prepared an exciting three-hour program packed with entertainment. Children participated in lively games, danced to traditional Fasching music, and enjoyed a variety of interactive activities designed to bring the celebration to life.
Many children arrived in colorful and creative costumes, adding to the festive atmosphere. Parents and families joined in, making it a memorable afternoon filled with cultural tradition, community, and endless fun.
