HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — On Sunday, February 15, 2026, the spirit of German Fasching (Carnival) arrives at Old World Village for the annual Kinderkarneval. Hosted by German School Campus in partnership with the Anaheim Karnevalsgesellschaft, this free community event is the premier destination for Southern California families to experience authentic German culture.
A Day of Costumes and Celebration
Kinderkarneval is a “Fifth Season” tradition in Germany, characterized by joy, creativity, and community. Families are invited to dress in their most colorful costumes for a day filled with:
- The Royal Procession: Meet the Prinzenpaar (Prince and Princess) of the Anaheim Karnevalsgesellschaft.
- Costume Parade: A highlight for the little ones as they parade through the historic Old World Village.
- Live Entertainment: Authentic music and dance performances that bring the heart of Germany to Huntington Beach.
- Traditional Delicacies: From freshly baked Berliner (jelly doughnuts) to pretzels, enjoy the tastes of the season.
