New at GERMAN SCHOOL campus – Pre-K program for children aged 4 and up!
Teaching preschool can be an exciting and rewarding experience.
We create a welcoming environment. We make sure the learning environment is welcoming and safe for young children. We use bright colors, posters, and familiar objects to make the classroom a fun and welcoming place for children to learn.
We use hands-on activities: Children at this age learn best through hands-on experiences. To help children learn, we plan activities where they can touch things, make things, and play games.
Repetition is key in helping young children learn and remember new information. We use repetition to reinforce key concepts and vocabulary.
Children today know a lot about technology, and using it can help keep their attention and help them learn.
We encourage social-emotional development. Young children are still developing their social and emotional skills. Teach skills such as taking turns, sharing, and showing kindness to others. We provide opportunities for children to practice these skills throughout the day.
Storytelling is a great way to engage young children and reinforce learning. We use stories to introduce new concepts and vocabulary and encourage children to tell their own stories.
Communication with parents is key to helping young children succeed. We keep parents informed of what their child is learning and how they can support their child’s learning at home.
Remember, every child is unique and may have different needs and learning styles. We are flexible and willing to adjust our teaching methods to meet the needs of each child in our classroom. With patience, creativity, and a good attitude, we can help young children develop a love of learning that will serve them well throughout their academic careers.
