Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Published: September 17, 2015 • Historical Archives

Founder and Principal of German School Campus, Ursula Schoeneich, combined her lifelong passions into a clear mission: creating a world-class educational environment to help students master the German language.

Moving from Germany to the United States was a deeply enriching experience that she considers a true gift. Embracing the unique opportunity to learn and teach cross-cultural skills unlocks the German advantage for our modern students. This process enriches the lives of our local community members through shared international knowledge, diverse global perspectives, and dynamic personality traits.

📅 Landmark Historical Milestone

German School Campus proudly opened its doors in September 2015 with an official red ribbon-cutting ceremony. We were honored to welcome Congressman Dana Rohrabacher along with his three children, who also went on to attend classes at our beautiful Newport Beach campus.

Academic Growth & Language Standards

Since our inaugural launch, our student classes have grown exponentially. Today, we proudly offer comprehensive educational paths across all of our academic language programs, safely guiding modern students toward achieving the German Language Diploma I and II (DSD I & II), AP German courses, and prestigious structural benchmarks.

To expand access to quality language courses, we extended our physical campus footprints directly into the vibrant morning school programs of Aliso Viejo and Carlsbad. We teach German as DaF (Deutsch als Fremdsprache – German as a Foreign Language) backed completely by our custom iLearn interactive learning platform which mirrors the criteria set forth by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

The CEFR criteria explicitly map out core proficiency benchmarks alongside three advanced “Plus Levels” (A2+, B1+, and B2+). Supported by thorough global empirical research and widespread consultation, this structured scheme enables academic tests and diplomas to be universally evaluated across distinct languages and national borders.

A Fluid & Adaptive Learning Environment

Our school nurtures an exceptionally fluid learning environment—both socially and academically. Keeping our individual class sizes deliberately small enables our dedicated teachers to give focused attention to each student’s unique learning needs. Offering your child an immersive opportunity to master another global language like German is a fabulous, lifetime gift.
