Damiana Week 11 Internship at GERMAN SCHOOL campus

On Monday, during the cooking class, we prepared a delicious dish called ” Frühstücks-Jägertoast.” The children had a blast customizing their toppings, adding a personal touch to their creations.

Throughout the week, I focused on designing report card templates and coordinating with Mrs. Schöneich for their distribution. We carefully reviewed and prepared the templates to ensure each child received their well-deserved report card. In addition to the report cards, every student in the cooking class received a personalized cooking spoon, an apron, and a traditional chef’s hat. Their faces lit up with pride and joy. It was heartwarming to witness their happiness.

Midweek, I had the opportunity to accompany Mrs. Schöneich and her high school students during their social project as part of their involvement in the Delta Epsilon Phi National Honor Society for High School Students of German. They volunteered at the Mercy Warehouse Thriftstore in Laguna Niguel. They enthusiastically accepted donations, organized items, and helped maintain the store. It was inspiring to witness their commitment to serving the community.

Further, I visited a Rooftop Cinema in Los Angeles with friends this week. It was an unforgettable experience. The views from the rooftop were fantastic, especially as we watched the movie during sunset. The combination of the breathtaking scenery and the film created a truly magical atmosphere that will stay with me for a long time.
