Damiana Week 12 Internship at GERMAN SCHOOL campus
This week has been an exciting one for me as I embarked on a short road trip over the long Memorial Day weekend to explore some amazing destinations around California. Let me share the highlights of my trip!
Our first stop was Zion Canyon, where we slept in a cozy Tiny house near the canyon. The beauty and grandeur of Zion Canyon were breathtaking. The towering cliffs, narrow canyons, and vibrant colors of the rock formations left a lasting impression on me.
Next, we headed to Bryce Canyon, where we had the unique opportunity to spend a night in a tipi. It was an incredible experience that I will cherish for a long time. The distinct rock formations known as hoodoos, with their reddish hues and intricate shapes, created a surreal atmosphere. Exploring the trails and viewpoints in Bryce Canyon was a feast for the eyes.
From there, we continued our journey to Page, where we visited the Antelope Canyon and the Monument Valley. The Antelope Canyon’s narrow, sandstone walls and the interplay of light and shadow were simply mesmerizing. The Monument Valley’s vast desert landscapes, with their iconic rock formations, offered a sense of tranquility and serenity.
Before heading back to Newport Beach, we spent a night in Las Vegas. The city that never sleeps left a lasting impression on me with its vibrant energy, dazzling lights, and endless entertainment options. It was a whirlwind of excitement, and I enjoyed every moment of it.
Of course, we couldn’t miss driving a stretch of the famous Route 66, a must-do on any proper road trip through the USA. The nostalgia and charm of this iconic highway added a special touch to our journey.
